Diabetic Nutrition Rx Phase II is a new alternating formula system designed to be used in conjunction with the original Diabetic Nutrition Rx formula. The reason we have pioneered the two phase system is to insure that your body does not build a resistance or tolerance to any nutrient in our formula. Nutrients are much like prescription drugs in that we built a resistance to nutrients after prolonged use. When our bodies become resistant to nutrients after prolonged use, we lose the desired benefits of the nutrient.

Diabetic Nutrition Rx Phase II contains alternate nutrients such as Gymnema Sylvestre, Alpha Lipoic Acid and other nutrients not found in the original formula. Alternating between the two formulas will insure against resistance to nutrients found in either formula. This system allows both formulas to always remain 100% effective. It is strongly recommended that you alternate from the original formula to Phase II every two to three months.

Phase II contains Gymnema Sylvestre which is an herb with tremendous benefits for diabetics. Gymnema Sylvestre has been subjected to intense research recently due to its reported benefits for diabetics. Gymnema has been shown to block the absorption of simple sugar through the intestinal walls. Therefore, when Gymnema is present in the system prior to meals, sugar absorption is significantly reduced. Since Gymnema Sylvestre prevents the absorption of sugar, the sugar molecules are then passed out of the system through bodily waste. What this means is that a significant amount of the sugar consumed never enters the blood stream. Glucose levels remain low and the pancreas is not required to produce as much insulin. And for individuals who still have endocrine pancreatic tissue present, Gymnema has also been shown to significantly rejuvenate this tissue.
